I want to share with you the story of Dr. Stormy Hill. She is one of the co-authors of our book The Transformational Journey. I first met Stormy in Kyle Wilson’s Inner Circle. She and I chatted and she got an interest in the Calling Framework. She is a mom of a 19-year-old son and a certified intimacy coach.
Dr. Stormy Hill, a multifaceted professional, shares her transformative journey from achieving her childhood dream of becoming a doctor to embracing life's unexpected turns. After a near-death experience during childbirth and her son's subsequent health challenges, she shifted her focus to motherhood, eventually becoming an advocate for children with heart conditions. Her divorce catalyzed personal growth, leading her to become an occupational therapist and entrepreneur.
Through various relationships, including a challenging marriage and conscious celibacy, Dr. Hill discovered the importance of self-love. Her diverse roles as a mother, therapist, and entrepreneur converged, highlighting the interconnectedness of her experiences. Driven by a desire to help others, she became a sex and intimacy coach, realizing the need for integration in all aspects of life.
Dr. Hill emphasizes the power of embracing every part of oneself, drawing parallels to the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold. She encourages others to view life's challenges not as brokenness but as opportunities to fill the cracks with gold, creating a unique and powerful work of art.
