The third pillar of my coaching system is CALLING. Calling is bigger than career, bigger than mission, bigger than passion, bigger even than purpose.
Calling is a spiritual pull that draws you forward.
It's not something internal that you're pushing forward on. It's a spiritual pull that draws you forward.
In November 2022, God blessed me with a vision of a diagram that I saw in a flash but it took me two weeks of prayer and discernment before I felt like I had all the pieces in the right places. This became The Calling Framework. This is the core of my third pillar and God has told me to share it without charge. You can click the button below to download it.
Calling is what I believe God has wired each one of us with.
Romans 11:29 "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." (ESV)
God has created each of us with unique gifts and calling. They are irrevocable, God is not going to take them away. However, just because they are inside of us does NOT mean that they will automatically show up. Most callings are progressive, they show up a piece at a time. Often we have to work to get them out: by prayer, by discernment, with help from others.
Proverbs 20:5, "The purposes in a person's heart are like deep water, but a person of understanding will draw them out."

Those things are inside you; they've been there; they've been developing all through the years. You've been given experiences and gifts and talents and strengths that will help you get along the way.
Are you using them, are you using them in the right way, are you pulling in the right direction, are they still buried? Because for many people, unless they do a lot of extra work, those callings stay buried.

Just like drawing water from a well, it takes work. And this is a case where coaching can help you quite a bit. A coach always works with you to draw those waters from your heart. It's not surgery. I can't go in and just extract them. I have to work with you.
My calling is to inspire calling in others. I want you to find your calling. I want you to get the peace, the direction, the joy that comes from really understanding your calling. You'll have a path that will allow you to say no to the distractions. It will allow you to stay focused. It will allow you to grow and to benefit others.
