A few weeks ago I wrote about the relationship bullseye. The relationship bullseye is also mentioned in my book.
This week I want to spend a little bit of time sharing with you about ways to connect with people to develop your bullseye a little more fully.
If you think about the rings of your bullseye some may be more complete than others.
Just in case you need a refresher on what the main groups are:
Core
Close
Extended
Tribe
Crowd
Followers
I have had many people ask me how I determine who goes in which group. I don’t have a hard and fast answer but will say that when you meet some people you will “just know” that they belong in a certain group and other times it takes time.
I have also been asked how to meet people to develop the relationship with. Again, everyone is different. For me I am part of a local church and several business organizations that help me meet people. If you aren’t part of a church that would be the first place I would suggest for you to check out.
If you aren’t in a work type situation that allows for business networking which leads to friends you can find some different type of groups that meet up on a site called http://www.meetup.com. This is a great way to find people that have similar interests as you.
As you get to know people you will be able to use your discernment to determine which circle they belong in. As I suggested in my video take your time to get to know people before moving them too closely to the center of your bullseye (Core).
If you have any questions about the relationship bullseye please feel free to comment below or email me.
I will include links to the past blogs about the relationship bullseye in case you need to refer back to them.
Blessings,
Coach Dale
