Joy, Teamwork, Connection

JOY!

While I’m certainly not a Greek language expert, I’ve learned in several places that the Greek word from which we derive our English word JOY has the root meaning of “glad to be with you!” 

This is important to know because it implies that JOY is a relational term. And when I think about my moments of joy, I know that even when I’m by myself, the joy I feel is because of relational connections that I’ve made. 

There is power in knowing you aren’t alone. That is part of why teamwork is so important. I am happy to be hosting a watch party for this year’s Faith Driven Entrepreneur virtual conference. Now more than ever we need like-minded people that we can connect with. COVID has continued to cause a disconnect in many areas of our life, including work.

In general, being an entrepreneur is what most people would call “lonely”. If you are an entrepreneur, you know what I am talking about. This is even more apparent if you are a solopreneur. If you are a Christian entrepreneur or solopreneur, it is even more lonely because there are fewer of us that fit that category. We have to be intentional in making connections that matter.

The Faith Driven Entrepreneur virtual conference will help us do just that.

Here are some of the things you can expect:

• Seeing that you are not alone
• Inspiration and wisdom from entrepreneurs who have already been on this journey
• Praying for each other
• Building powerful allies
• Inspiration and momentum to start AND/OR continue
• Groups will form that will continue after the conference
  • Bible Study Groups
  • Mastermind Groups
  • Prayer Groups

The conference is Wednesday, September 8th from 10 am-4 pm Central. If you can’t attend the entire conference, you may still want to get a ticket because you will have access to the video recordings after the conference.
