Gentle showing gentleness with no words.
If you missed Part 1 of this blog – read it here.
Because of the love, Gentle showed Chuck with no words… it led to Chuck exploring what was going on inside of him. He ended up going to the Anger Room where he was able to let some of his anger out. The anger had to come out of him. As the anger released from Chuck, Gentle began to change and be even more connected to him. He didn’t run off when he took his leash off. He stayed right by him.
Chuck experienced great freedom by going to the Anger Room in Dallas. Donna Alexander was the woman that started the Anger Room. She was a domestic abuse advocate and believed that having a safe place to let your anger out was healthy. Unfortunately, on September 24, 2018 she was murdered by her abusive ex-boyfriend. If you want to watch a short news story about her and how even in her death she was able to bless 7 women, click here.
One of the things that Chuck wants to do in Santa Fe is to create an anger room. I am cheering him on for sure. We can find more healing than we can even expect when we pass on what we gained to someone else. Paying it forward is a real thing.
Because of the power of love he found in Gentle and the freedom he gained in the Anger Room Chuck was able to heal a little bit more in ways he didn’t realize he needed.
As I close this post I am wondering:
- What you need freedom from?
- In what unexpected ways is God trying to guide you to that freedom?
Pray about it and listen for God to answer then be willing to walk in the truth He shows you.
Blessings.

Great story. The “Anger Room” is an interesting concept.
It definitely is a great concept. Very useful for some people.
